Stacey McCutcheon, PMHNP-BC

Stacey McCutcheon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 17 years of nursing experience across emergency, critical care, inpatient psychiatry, and acute care. She provides evidence-based care to adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. Stacey believes meaningful treatment begins by listening and taking the time to understand each person's unique experiences, strengths, values, and aspirations. She strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where a person feels comfortable seeking support while reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

She takes a holistic, integrative approach to care, recognizing that mental wellness is shaped by the complex interaction of psychological, physical, social, and spiritual factors. With both personal and professional insight into the unique demands faced by first responders, healthcare professionals, military service members, and veterans, she provides culturally informed, respectful care that honors one's lived experience. She also has extensive experience supporting individuals through acute crises and helping them regain stability during life's most challenging moments.

Her clinical experience includes treating anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, PTSD, and other complex mental health conditions. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. For some individuals, psychotherapy may provide the support they need; for others, medication may be an important part of recovery. She works collaboratively with each patient to develop a personalized plan that aligns with their needs, preferences, and goals while supporting meaningful, lasting wellness.

Patients can expect collaborative, thoughtful care grounded in empathy and shared decision-making. Stacey values open communication and believes every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. Whether patients are seeking support for a new concern or navigating a long-standing health challenge, she is committed to partnering with them to build resilience, foster hope, and move toward lasting emotional well-being.

A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Stacey enjoys spending time with family, nature photography, hiking, exploring the outdoors, and appreciating the beauty and tranquility she proudly calls home.
